SUMEDH MUDGALKAR - THE BEAT KING - MY INSPIRATION

I have been following an Indian based dance reality show ''Dance India Dance'' since last few seasons. I always loved watching DID lil masters over the normal seasons of DID. I almost had a mind set that i won't be watching DID season 4 because i always preferred watching lil masters over it, as i said before. But once i was sitting idol, going through all the channels out of boredom and i coincidentally paused to ZeeTv which was showing the Mumbai auditions of DID season 4. And then came this boy named ''Sumedh Mudgalkar'' wearing a blue hoodie and jean. And then started his performance on ''Tum jo aaye zindagi me'' i was totally dumbstruck seeing his dance, the way he played with the beats (though they didn't show the whole performance). I was totally impressed with his act and that is when i decided to follow this season of DID.
After his 1st audition i deadly waited for his mega audition as i wanted to see more of his dance. And finally after a long wait the day arrived and i still remember his act was the very 1st act in mega audition. That curiosity to see him performing was beyond limit. Well, if i talk about his looks, trust me every girl must have fallen for him (whosoever watched his mega audition). And when he started with his dance (dub step) on ''Teri Meri'', i swear it blown me off completely. My eyes were wide open during his whole performance, i mean how can anyone dance so well? Like how? Judges named him ''BEAT KING'' because he plays with beats so well. Since i watched that act of him i turned out to be CRAZY about him. I started searching about him on every social sites. I started to google about him and then i get to know about his participation in ''Dance Maharashtra Dance''. Aahhh, and finally i got to watch even more of his dance. ♥ Well, i was dishearten when i got to know that he's younger to me :P But anyways i always loved him for his talent and not just his looks.
Then started the actual journey of Sumedh in DID. Well, we didn't get to see much of Sumedh in starting few weeks. Between so many contestants my eyes always searched for him as he was the ONLY reason for me to watch DID 4.
His every single performances made me proud and proud. And not just me, i could see lakhs of people like me who were lattoo over Sumedh's dance. Sumedh always got maximum love from audiences and that made me feel like i wasn't wrong about his talent. I gave a name for his fans ''SUMEDHIANS'', yes as we all were part of Sumedh's world, i termed ourselves as SUMEDHIANS. We all are one HUGE family. Thanks to Sumedh i met amazing Sumedhians specially Sona, Pooja, Sheena, Ahana, Yathra, Tushar and many many more.Well, this girl named ''Sona'' she's TOO MUCH crazy about Sumedh. :'D
Sumedh went on giving amazing performances every single week and made us proud always. The day he got his very first grand salute from dada for his ''Girly act'' made me happiest. I was actually into tears seeing him getting closer to his destination. :') I could always feel the happiness seeing him happy and sadness in his sorrow.
Everything was going as per expectation, he was growing in his performances every week. But unfortunately he fallen sick terribly. I was worried if he will perform or not due to sickness. But, Sumedh is our rockstar. Even after being so terribly sick, he didn't give up. He still performed. He even managed to get a grand salute from dada for his very first duet with Shrishty. Yes, that inspired me. I could see that ''will'' that ''passion'' of him towards dance. Usually when i fall even mere sick, it gets hard for me to get out of bed. But, this guy even after being attacked by high fever, he performed. I mean he not just performed but he killed the stage mahn. He didn't make anyone of us realise that he was sick. Though i could see it due to his sore eyes but mentally and physically he stayed strong. Well, he was the one who gave an awesome tribute to our cricket legend ''THE SACHIN TENDULKAR''. It wasn't just a dance on any particular song but he danced on the last speech of Sachin. Isn't it great? But they eliminated him. I expected them to appreciate him to perform flawlessly even after being ill, but naah, they eliminated him. It was the most shocking thing ever happened in DID4. How could they eliminate a gem like him? I seriously had a sorry wala feeling for DID for losing a rockstar like Sumedh. It wasn't Sumedh's loss, it was their loss. It was the first time i saw tears in Sumedh's eyes. I couldn't bear it, infact we Sumedhians couldn't bear it. We cried too. We cried very badly. But that wasn't the end of the story....

Another week was the wild card entry and our Beat King came with a bang once again to rock DID. And this time it seemed he had all the aggression and overflowing passion to come back in DID. And guess what? He did it.! He astonished each and every one with his MAGNIFICENT performance. When they announced that the one who entered via wild card is ''SUMEDH MUDGALKAR'' i burst out with tears of happiness that yeah my rockstar did it. His happiness, the way he ran onto stage after his name was being announced, trust me that was the best feeling. :') Woot Woot. He left traces on each and everyone's heart with his performance. Another inspiration i got from him was that no matter if you fall once, it doesn't mean that you failed, never give up, infact get up and get back to achieve your goal once again. You are never too old to set a new goal or to start a new dream. Aahhh, i loved Sumedh for this. :')
Then again Sumedh's journey in DID started with a bang. This time his growth was tremendous. Well, let me expose the amazing fact about Sumedh that he didn't take any kind of training in dance in his life. Whatever he have learnt, he learnt on his own. He was his own teacher, he practiced watching dance videos on you tube. That is what make him stand different from others. He's a born talent. :)
Well well well, the another time i saw him crying was when he tried ''Blind fold act''. He didn't cry because he didn't do it well, he cried because he made it through wonderfully. Shows his dedication towards dance. Though personally it did really hurt me seeing him burst out in tears. :(
After the wild card entry, Sumedh always tried to perform out of box and executed it amazingly. Versatility is in his blood. How flexibly and with ease he tried all the styles, and made us proud.
I didn't know him personally but still respected him the most. People always kept saying that these popular people are full of attitude and ego. But i never cared about what others said. I always believed in him. And i wasn't wrong about him. 27th december, 2013 was the first time i talked to him on call. Those 3 min 19 sec were one of the bestest minutes of my life. He was extremely kind and sweet with his words. Though i was very nervous i didn't feel like i was talking to him for the 1st time or that i was talking to a popular person. And the respect for him raised to another height. :') Well, the very next day i.e 28th december, 2013 was the day i actually met him, i mean i met THE BEAT KING! Wow.. It was the best feeling. It was my dream come true meeting him :') And what actually makes me happy is that Sumedh knows me! THE SUMEDH MUDGALKAR knows me.. hell yeah.. :'D

Sumedh earned lot many things in these 18 weeks on DID which no else did. Yes, no one else. :)
He was the only contestant in the history of DID on whose behalf Dada appealed for votes. It never happened in history of DID. He was the part of act which was demaned by Dada for once more. Again never happened in DID.
I am crazy proud about Sumedh and will always be. No matter what, he was, he is, and he will always be our superstar.
And the most hurtful and biased decision made by DID was not making the most versatile dancer of DID the winner. Yeah i am pretty sure the decision was biased. But i am happy that whatever Sumedh have earned or to whatever position he have reached it was his own efforts not because of any reference. And we are freaking proud about this. People may forget the winner in short run but we Sumedhians won't forget him ever. We are with him for life. He won maximum love from not just India but from different parts of world too, and i guess that is REAL WINNING. :) He'll surely be a superstar very soon and that too on his own efforts. I won't be following DID anymore for being so biased especially with Sumedh each and every time. They have made my rockstar cry, they deserve losing viewers. And they definitely lost many.! :)
I really feel thankful to Sumedh for always being an inspiration to me though he is younger to me. :') I have learnt lot many things from him. He's not just an amazing dancer but a very good human too. He inspire me to be a good human. :) He deserves alot and he will surely get it. He'll be a superstar in coming years, he's already a star though. He'll shine like a sun during days and  like a moon during nights. I am his craziest fan now and forever. I hope he'll remember me always as one of his craziest fan. :') Love you Sumedh!
